We are trying to organise a meet up and get together for May - this has become something of a tradition and very much enjoyed by all who come along! Smile

In the past it has been held in Stratford, Leicester and Warwick, all fairly central for most people; but clearly some will have a longer/more difficuilt journey than others. One of those things I'm afraid but we try to make it as easy as possible knowing people's problems in getting about. Perhaps Birmingham would be a good choice with its excellent motorway network, rail and air links.

The buffet lunch itself will be held on the Saturday, about 1.00pm and cost between £15-£20 approx. per person, usually a reduction can be made for children. Each time I have been I have stayed two nights (Friday and Saturday), as have others, which makes for a lovely weekend break. The last two years we have stayed in Hilton hotels which provide access to swimming pools, sauna, gym etc. They are also disabled friendly. Family are invited to come along if they wish and everyone is made to feel very welcome ThumpUp

At the moment we are trying to gauge interest before firm plans of venue and date are made. It would be lovely to meet everyone and it's something we do just once a year so a great opportunity to meet up with people who have become 'RA' friends.

Interested anyone? (Please say yes, I want to meet you all BigGrin )

It'll be really good to meet you. I think we have about 12 coming already from our private FB site. Some have already booked into the Hilton. xx
